Kutubpur is an important rural village of the Hansi
district, Haryana. The name of the village is believed to have
originated during the Mughal period, possibly after an influential
officer or administrator named “Kutub.”
At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mrs. Suman. As a
woman leader, she is continuously working towards women
empowerment, child nutrition, and the improvement of primary
healthcare facilities within the village.
Socially, Kutubpur has a well-organized and progressive community
environment. There is a strong awareness towards education, and
the younger generation is increasingly moving towards technical
and professional education. Agriculture forms the backbone of the
village economy.
The fertile land of Kutubpur is especially suitable for paddy and
wheat cultivation. Farmers have adopted modern irrigation methods
to enhance productivity and conserve water resources. Animal
husbandry is well developed, with dairy farming carried out on a
