name originates from the settlement of the Lochab Jat community,
which has played a significant role in shaping the village’s

At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mrs. Bimla. Under
her leadership, focused efforts are being made to strengthen
women literacy and primary healthcare services. Her initiatives
have also led to major improvements in village streets and the
drainage system.
Socially, Kheri Lochab has a highly organized community structure

traditional chaupal remains the central place for justice and
