Kapro is a large and politically active village located in the
Hansi–Narnaund region of Hansi district, Haryana. The origin of the
village name is believed to be linked to a distinctive settlement
or agricultural activity practiced here in ancient times.
At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mrs. Pramila.
Under her leadership, significant attention is being given to
development works, especially the construction of paved roads
and the implementation of modern drainage systems to improve
overall village infrastructure.
Socially, Kapro has a proud and well-organized community structure.
The sense of brotherhood in the village is widely recognized
across the region. The village chaupal serves as a central place
for collective decision-making and social discussions.
Agriculture forms the backbone of Kapro’s economy. The fertile land
supports the cultivation of wheat, mustard, and cotton. A strong
canal irrigation system ensures stable agricultural output.
Animal husbandry is an important supporting occupation, and the
Murrah breed of buffaloes found here is well known for high milk
production. The youth of Kapro are actively progressing in the
fields of defense services, sports, and education, contributing
to the village’s growing reputation.
