Haibatpur is an ancient and historically significant village located
in the Narnaund region of Hansi district, Haryana. The word “Haibat”
in old languages signifies influence, dignity, and respect, which
is believed to reflect the personality of the village’s powerful
ancestors or founders.
Currently, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mr. Rajmal. Under his
capable leadership, special attention is being given to improving
basic infrastructure, including modern drainage systems and the
beautification of village streets, ensuring a cleaner and more
organized living environment.
Socially, Haibatpur is known for its strong, fair, and disciplined
social structure. The people are recognized throughout the region
for their simplicity, honesty, and straightforward nature.
Agriculture remains the primary occupation of the villagers.
The fertile soil of Haibatpur is especially suitable for cotton
(narma) and wheat cultivation. Farmers here actively adopt modern
agricultural practices, resulting in high productivity. Animal
husbandry plays a vital supporting role in the local economy, with
pure milk and dairy products forming an essential part of daily
life. The traditional chaupal culture is still alive, where elders
collectively take decisions in the interest of the village. The
youth of Haibatpur show keen interest in education and sports,
particularly wrestling, which brings pride to the village.
